The first Kenya Project Finance for Permanence Advisory Forum (FPF)- strategy Circle meeting convened by The Nature Conservancy was held earlier today at the Serena Hotel.
The Purpose of this high level group is to: advice and gather support for the project concept, Generate big ideas to meet the conservation Finance challenges in Kenya, and strengthen the quality of the planning phase by gathering multi-sector input.
This project was initiated in 2021 by The Nature Conservancy as a new way to protect large ecosystems. Its designed to achieve: Biodiversity conservation, Climate change, and Sustainable development for Kenya. FPFs address many constraints that countries face in protecting their natural resources.
The meeting was graced by PS Silvia Museiya Kihoro who urged the stakeholders to support Kenya’s ambitious conservation agenda, climate change mitigation and sustainable development goals as highlighted in the Kenya Kwanza Manifesto.
