PS Tourism John Ololtuaa, has officially launched the 14th Edition of the Magical Kenya Travel Expo scheduled for 2nd-5th October 2024, at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi.
Speaking during the launch, the PS thanked all the stakeholders in the tourism industry for making the sector flourish. “I’d like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to every one of you for driving the tourism sector to where it is”. said the PS
He added that tourism is a cornerstone of our country’s economy, playing a vital role in job creation and economic development, it supports hundreds of thousands of jobs that are key in improving the lives of our citizens.
The 14th edition of the Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE) is scheduled to take place from 2nd – 5th October 2024 aiming to attract 5,000 attendees. Last year, over 3,000 delegates participated showcasing Kenya’s diverse tourism offerings.
