The Indian High Commission earlier today paid a courtesy call on Principal Secretary Wildlife, Ms. Silvia Museiya . They held discussions on issues regarding the Big Cat Alliance initiative where Kenya is a member.
The Big Cat Alliance aims to strengthen global cooperation and efforts for conservation of seven big cat species (tiger, lion, leopard, snow leopard, cheetah, jaguar and puma) and their habitats.
Ag Wildlife Secretary Dr Shadrack Ngene was nominated to be the focal point to the Big Cat Alliance.
